    Mr. Aekesh Kumar, Id. No. Ph.D. scholar in the department of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, participated in the “Young Leaders Conclave on Environment and Disaster” organized by National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, GOI during 04th June to 05th June, 2024. His research paper entitled, “Developing Integrated Remote Sensing based Combine Drought Index for Monitoring Agricultural Drought in Marathwada Region, Maharashtra, India” by Aekesh Kumar, Anil Kumar, Pravendra Kumar and P. V. Singh under the theme “Land Degradation: drought and Desertification”, received the Second prize in the best paper completion with a prize money of Rs. 5000/- and a certificate.
