Society of Automotive Enginners, COT Collegiate Club, Pantnagar Organized AUTOQUERIA – The Automotive Quiz 2024 On 24 -25 May 2024
The aim of organizing the quiz was to educate, engage, and inspire enthusiasts about various aspects of automotive technology, history, and innovation, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the automotive industry.
This event successfully got a start with the opening of registration form on May 20th, 2024. The registration form got the registration of 72 students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year plus some on spot entries as well out of which 5 teams (2 students each) were selected for the final round.

The Winning team and the runner up team for the college event of SAE INDIA COT COLLEGIATE CLUB names TECHNOZARRE, were also felicitated with the winners of the quiz.
Beyond being a mere test of expertise, AUTOQUERIA cultivated a vibrant community spirit, encouraging collaboration and camaraderie among enthusiasts. This event serves as a beacon for learning, offering insights into the latest advancements and timeless classics alike.
With its seamless fusion of technical depth and exhilarating competition, the automotive quiz emerges as a quintessential affair, leaving a lasting impression on all who partake in its excitement.
Student Activity under the umbrella of Mech-Chap in the year 2023-2024
1. Sports and GK Quiz
Event was organized on 11th Jan 2024 from 12-1 pm at Mechanical Seminar room. The quiz focused on the knowledge of participants about various topics such as sports, currents affairs, history, Science, politics, etc. The event brought up enthusiastic participation of 10 teams.
2. Celebration of National Unity Day
Mech Chap, conducted an event on the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 31st October 2023 celebrating the National Unity Day. The event was held at PCT conference hall which was attended by the various dignitaries. The event on National Unity Day was organized with a primary objective of promoting unity, diversity and inclusivity within the college student’s performance including poem, speech and skit. The event ended by the vote of thanks by Dr. L.Varshney, Head Department of Mechanical Engineering)
