III Party Monitoring and Evaluation of Micro Irrigation System (MIS) under Per Drop More Crop component of PMKSY (Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojna).

As per Vice Chancellor endorsement letter no. V.C.S 5675 dated 22.10.2022 on the 3027/PMKSY/Evaluation/2022-23 dated October 21, 2022 (Copy Enclosed) two faculty members namely Dr. P.K. Singh, Professor and Dr. Dheeraj Kumar, Associate Professor were nominated as experts for the III Party Monitoring and Evaluation of Micro Irrigation System (MIS) under Per Drop More Crop component of PMKSY (Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojna). In this regard the list of Micro Irrigation System Installed at farmers’ fields (more than thousand) in different Districts of Uttarakhand have been received for the above said purpose. Further, in the first phase for the monitoring and evaluation of MIS installed during the period of 2016-17 and 2017-18, the team will visit during summer break w.e.f. 25.06.2023 to 24.07.2023.

Installation of demonstration unit of automated Micro Irrigation System

An automated Micro Irrigation System is being installed in the departmental Laboratory for the Lab classes of B. Tech and M. Tech students. This system costing about Rs. 2 Lakhs has been donated by Ms. AUTOMAT INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED, Delhi having 6 manufacturing units in SIDCUL HARIDWAR.
