There were stalls offering the latest in high yielding variety seeds, fertilizers and pesticides etc. Another section had stalls displaying the most advanced of agricultural equipments like tractors, harvesters, automobiles etc.. Apart from these there were agricultural publications, electronic items, household products etc. the stalls of food and games were a huge draw. Societies like SAVEN and VSM also had their stalls in the fair. At the end of each day there was a special arrangement for entertainment of people in the form of magic shows and cultural events. Many lectures and seminars were also organized for the benefit of farmers where their problems and queries were answered by the best experts in their respective fields.
The successful organization of the Kisan Mela once again brought the university one step closer to its aim of establishing better communication with the farmers.
